Operation Temperature Range
Oxis lithium-sulphide technology operates in a temperature
range which is superior to any other rechargeable battery
technology. A typical Oxis coin cell rated at 80 C delivers
50 cycles at the rate C/2 (2 hours charge, 2 hours discharge).
A graph below shows the specific capacity in mA hours per
gram of sulphur as a function of cycle number.

Oxis D cell (prototyped from a coin cell data):
Temperature rating: 0 C
80 C
Voltage: 2.1V
Capacity at 80 C: 8.5 Ah
Specific Energy: 250 Wh/kg
Energy density: 360 Wh/kg

Oxis chemistry is tolerant to high temperatures: when heated
to 140 C it delivers full capacity on discharge and recovers
70% of its initial capacity when 'cooled down' to 100 C.
Oxis cells stand overcharging and high discharge rates at
any temperature without significant degradation in power delivery.
